A little news from the Facilities Department. Every spring/summer we have the opportunity to upgrade and purchase new items for the program and this year we found we had a little cash left in our capital budget from last year, so Broadcast and Film students can look forward to some new purchases this semester.
By mid march we hope to have the following new items in our possession:
1 SONY EX1R camera package with batteries/SXS card and bag
7 new audio packages which includes boom poles/mikes/wind socks etc.
2 new lighting kit bags
and approximately three new lighting kits and the ability to take some 1K's on location
Also we will have two new SXS card readers which we will be able to put in two more edit suites.
We will continue to upgrade and make new purchases this summer but we thought you like to know what we are working on presently. We will let you know when they all arrive.
